Skills for Life provides information and resources to help providers have an impact on the improving the levels of reading, writing, maths, financial and media literacy and ESOL.

• Learning and Skills Council
  LSC regional plans detail the actions that  both the LSC and partner organisations who deliver the Skills for Life strategy aim to support and operate
• National Research and Development Centre (NRDC)
  The National Research and Development Centre (NRDC) is dedicated to conducting research into adult literacy, numeracy, ESOL and ICT.  They are working to help improve the quality of teaching and learning so that young people and adults can progress in life and work.
• Regional Achievement Programme (RAP)
  a regional programme which supports local LSCs in their work by engaging with providers and policy makers and working with other players at a regional level to meet regional needs in enhancing the LLN provision.
  
• The National Literacy Trust
  Mission: The National Literacy Trust's purpose is to make an independent, strategic and practical contribution to the creation of a society in which all can enjoy the skills, confidence and pleasures of literacy to support their educational, economic, social and cultural goals
