Flying high on success the 2009 winners of Adult Learners' Week Awards celebrate in style at the RAF Museum Cosford.

The West Midlands Celebrates learning at the 2009 Regional Adult Learners’ Week Award Ceremony on the 11th May at the RAF Museum Cosford with over 150 guests including winners enjoying the day.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire, Col Thewles,  warmly welcomed the audience to the county, followed by Ian Austen, Member of Parliament for Dudley North. 

Ian Austen presented the three ESF awards followed by numerous sponsors and supporting organisations who took their turn and made our regional winners and nominees feel very special indeed.

Once again the West Midlands received much appreciated support from the Learning and Skills Council West Midlands, The Open University West Midlands, West Midlands MLA Council, RAF Museum Cosford, Association of Colleges, Telford College of Arts and Technology, Screen WM and Ufi West Midlands and the RAF.
